カラーレスの簡単な原理 / カラーレス特集を添えて
こんにちは、ノリちゃんです。 公式では久々ですね！ 今回は新しく私が用意したニアカラーレスゾイサイトや、代表イルモさんが仕入れたカラーレススピネルを出品するにあたって、 「どうしてカラーレスになるのだろう？」 という、単純な疑問を簡単にですが説明していく形で、 楽しんでいただくコラムになっております。 まず、カラーレスとは何か？ こちらは単純で、「カラーが無い＝無色」であり、 無色透明の事を指しています。 GemTreeJapanが基本使用しているEGLでは無色を「Colourless」と表記しており、 それは日本でメジャーな研究機関のGIA、中央宝石研究所、日独宝石研究所も一緒になります。 日本語表記では当然「無色」です。 しかし、宝石名に「ホワイト」と付いている物があるのはご存じでしょうか？ 代表的にな物はホワイトトパーズですね。 ホワイトダイヤモンドだけは意味が違ってそのまま「白いダイヤ」になります。 宝石業界ではホワイトと言うのは、無色透明を指しています。 透明なトパーズの他にもジルコンやサファイアに対して、 「ホワイト・○○」と使いますね！ 宝石業界では様々な色が有る物に対して差別化をする為に使われています。 なので基本的にカラーが複数種類ある宝石に対してはホワイトを使う事が出来ます。 どの石に対してホワイト表記できるかの判別は難しいので、...
