This Nigerian sapphire has a deep base color and a green sparkle that evokes both yellow and blue, and the shape of the rough stone has resulted in an egg shape, which is relatively rare for GTJ.

The pavilion side is flower cut and the crown side is step cut, amplifying the sparkle of the flowing flower cut.

There are fine hazy inclusions scattered throughout the stone, but they are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Although it is relatively thin, the flower cut keeps the feeling of looseness to a minimum.

Normally, the rough stone is handed over to the main cutter, Piacchan, who gives instructions, but this stone was preformed by GTJ representative Ilmo during a live stream, and then cut by Piacchan. The live stream video is at the bottom of the page, so please take a look.

We removed any noticeable inclusions while leaving inclusions that were not too noticeable so that the stone would not become too small, resulting in a stone of over 1 carat.
