This piece is made from Tanzanian tourmaline, which has a deep, not-too-dark green base color and a vivid green sparkle that is slightly yellowish.It is a relatively rare UV-changing crystal, and has been fashioned from the rough stone into a fancy pear shape with a finely outlined outline.

It is a beautiful crystal with no noticeable inclusions, and the rich base color that is not too dark gives off a delicate sparkle from the flower cut.

When exposed to UV light it gradually fluoresces red.
