This is a silky bicolor unheated sapphire from Vietnam, with a moist and silky tip and a relatively clear rounded side containing iridescent inclusions.

This stone is produced in Vietnam and is known for its vibrant and vivid colors, and the blue is very colorful and silky, giving it a depth that is reminiscent of the deep sea or the night sky.

It is finished in a simple, slightly elongated standard pear shape, and although there are some inclusions throughout and some slight surface area, they are kept to a minimum and the stone is finished at just over 1 carat.

Although it is a relatively low-fluorescence blue, the silky components of the color glow a fantastic, soft red when exposed to UV light.
