This is an unheated sapphire with a beautiful pinkish purple hue, and although it has a few tiny inclusions, they are completely invisible to the naked eye, making it a clear stone of outstanding quality.

It is finished as a sharp fancy oval with a sharp outline, and its outstanding cut and shine give it a delicate, alluring sparkle and flicker of fire.

If you look closely from the pavilion side, you can see a faint orange color band, which is interesting.

This is purely my personal impression, but although the stone is very clear, it also has a slightly silky feel to it, perhaps due to the color, which I love.

It has excellent fluorescence when exposed to UV light.
