This is an unheated sapphire that was preformed in Sri Lanka, where the founder of GTJ purchased the rough stones from Burma, and then finished in Bangkok.

This piece has an outstanding transparency and a gorgeous bright cornflower-like blue color, with silk inclusions covering two large areas, allowing you to enjoy both its sparkle and style.

The cornflower blue color pools and color bands give it the feel of a Sri Lankan sapphire, but it also has a silky feel to it, condensing all the fun of sapphires.

There are some small inclusions, but nothing that is particularly noticeable.
