Trapiche refers to a hexagonal crystal that has six lines of inclusions formed during its growth, and the word means gear in Spanish.

This rough stone has been polished to highlight only the side with the trapiche, and when exposed to UV light, it can be seen even more clearly due to the fluorescent reaction.

The crystals are silky purplish overall, with some parts that could be called rubies, making this a stone perfect for enthusiasts.
