This piece allows you to enjoy an unprecedented expression of a gemstone, combining the inherent charm of a stone as created by the Earth with the beauty of a jewel.
Instead of a conventional full-face cut, step cuts are applied only around the table side, while the opposite side retains the rough stone as it is.
The rough stone had no major inclusions and high transparency, but it was thin.
This new design was created to avoid significantly reducing its thickness if both sides were cut and to leverage the rich undulations of the rough stone.
This is a unique piece made from a precious unheated rough stone from Kanchanaburi, which is now a closed mine, and was only possible with such a suitable rough stone.
A bright, clear violet with a very slight seepage of bright blue, and a faint blue peeks through depending on the angle.
Light reflects intricately off the undulations of the rough stone, making it appear bicolor or showing beautiful violet gradations depending on the angle.
The continuous undulations of the rough stone create a glossy, glass-like appearance and soft, rounded light reflections.
The unevenness of the rough stone creates irregular sparkles of varying sizes and angles, offering a brilliance not seen in typical faceted cuts or inclusion-derived sparkles.
The unexpected sparkles that appear depending on the angle and lighting, and the light that shimmers deep within like reflections on water, add depth to the piece.
By combining these natural lights with the regular and sharp brilliance of the facet cut, you can enjoy a symphony of different sparkling expressions.
The shape of the rough stone's undulations itself is beautiful, resembling crashing waves, and the contrast between the two sides is also impressive.
There are multiple clear inclusions that shine with iridescence-like rainbow colors, and depending on the angle, they can be seen flickering on the table surface with the naked eye, adding a delicate and mystical atmosphere to the piece.
When viewed through a loupe, a single extremely small orange inclusion is visible, but it is not noticeable to the naked eye and does not detract from the beauty of the piece.
This piece is unique and distinctive, blending the wild yet soft natural beauty of the rough stone's form with a calculated design.
