This is an unheated sapphire from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, a tasteful piece with a silky, grayish pinkish purple crystal filled with inclusions that sparkle with rainbow iridescence.It has been fashioned from a rough stone into a neat pear shape.

Rainbow ink sparkles diagonally across the table, and depending on the angle, a blue and pink color band running down the center is visible, which is both interesting and cute.

Because the crystal is packed with inclusions, there are small details visible throughout, but they are kept to a minimum. Conversely, stones of this type that are cut to perfection are considered to be very valuable.

This impressive stone is nearly 2 carats in size, and its fantastic silkiness and fancy color are irresistible. Be sure to enjoy it in your hands.
