This unheated sapphire from Nigeria features a subtly greenish yellow crystal, reminiscent of a sunflower, with brown silk inclusions that shimmer gold depending on the angle. It has been crafted into a 10-sided fancy round with a small table and a flower cut laid out to frame the outline.

The golden sparkle is beautiful, and the brown silk inclusions add depth. The gold of the silk glitters with the sparkle of the gem at different angles, making it intriguing and beautiful.

By making the table extremely small, the loss of brilliance from the thin proportions is minimized, and the fine cuts on both sides overlap to bring out the sparkle.

Despite its thinness, it has a wide surface area, giving it the impact of a 2ct or 3ct stone.

Although it has interesting inclusions, the stone quality is excellent, with colorful fire shimmering through, and combined with the body color, there are moments when it feels like sphene.
