This unheated sapphire from Nigeria features a rich gold-yellow crystal with dark brown silk inclusions floating through about half of it.

The fancy marquise cut, finely outlining its contours, gives this piece a unique presence.

At first glance, it gives a subdued and calm impression, but from certain angles, the golden sparkle created by the flower cut spreads, showing vivid changes in the light.
