This piece is made from unheated sapphire from Sri Lanka, with a rich pink/purple crystal and silk inclusions that look like they were painted with a brush, and is finished into a long octagon.

The silky crystal has silk lines running vertically and horizontally throughout, and depending on the angle it sparkles in a rainbow-colored silver.

The crown side also sparkles in rainbow colors, but the pavilion side is particularly notable for its spectacular silk inclusions.

In addition to the silk, there are small black spots and white inclusions, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye and only add to the texture of the piece.

Enjoy this precious unheated sapphire, which has a strong pink/purple color but also a soft, silky impression.
