[from Rough] Unheated Sapphire 0.893ct / Kanchanaburi

The original form of this piece is a 2.24ct unheated sapphire rough from Kanchanaburi.

By carefully cutting away the parts of the rough that would not become a gemstone, and preserving the stone as much as possible during preforming, we arrived at a parallelogram shape.

While some pieces proceed exactly as imagined before production, for many rough stones, the shape is determined during the preforming process.

To preserve the color band, a slight inclusion remains in the bottom right of the photo, but most undesirable inclusions were successfully removed.

It has good thickness, and the sparkle of the step cut creates a blue gradation.

The lattice-like silk inclusions and growth lines throughout are expressive, allowing you to fully enjoy the characteristics of sapphire. This rare and exquisite piece, born from the rough, combines the interesting bicolor nature of the crystal with a sharp, unique shape.

This piece possesses a unique beauty and charm, created by the exquisite combination of two colors, the contrast of hues and textures, and the culmination of elements such as proportion and cut.

Numerous color bands of a somewhat subdued blue run through a very pale yellow, close to near-colorless, and a subdued pale purple can also be seen depending on the angle.

The blue color bands intersect in fine lattice-like and linear patterns, and at certain angles, they appear like schiller, showing a unique texture resembling frosted glass.

The pale yellow has a clean, clear color and transparency, making the contrasting texture with the blue color bands one of its greatest charms.

A sharp baguette is step-cut, with linear sparkles shining brightly, and fine brilliance gathering in the corners as if bursting forth.

There are transparent, small inclusions, but since they are at the edge and blend with the sparkle, they are not very noticeable to the naked eye and do not detract from the beauty of the piece.

In addition to being a valuable unheated crystal from Kanchanaburi, this piece possesses unique beauty and charm.
