This piece was created from a gem that GemTreeJapan member Ruru was particularly drawn to among those encountered on a trip to Sri Lanka. The cut design was developed under the supervision of the representative.

Before cutting, the stone was a slightly distorted oval with uneven cuts, resulting in subdued sparkle and a prominent inclusion on the table.

While there was a risk of diminishing its charm depending on how the inclusion was handled, its brilliance was significantly enhanced, and its delicate color became much more prominent.

I personally loved it at first sight, thinking "I want this one!", and the cut transformed it into an astonishingly beautiful piece with double the charm.

The colors that emerge as you change the angle and light source are unique to this piece, and there are moments when it looks like a padparadscha, making it a highly recommended stone.

The color variations created by the soft pinkish-purple with orange silk inclusions and color bands are like a kaleidoscope of pale colors.

The base color is a pale pinkish-purple, but due to the influence of silk inclusions, a faint orange appears, and depending on the angle, the colors blend, creating an orangey-pink, giving it a party color impression.

The hue changes significantly depending on the light source; pink is stronger in natural light, and blue is more prominent under LED light.

Fine silk inclusions are present in parts, and under a loupe, they appear as multiple overlapping growth lines.

These silk inclusions have a subtle bluish-white hue, but are partially pale orange, and a distinct orange can be seen from certain angles.

This is a rare phenomenon, mainly seen in unheated Sri Lankan sapphires, where silk inclusions appear orange from certain angles due to light reflection.

On the pavilion side, there are two thin blue color bands, and a very faint blue also appears in parts due to reflection.

These colors blend in the sparkle, and combined with the dazzling fire, it is magnificent.

A flower cut is applied to the elegant oval, and when tilted, specks of light sparkle within the piece as if dancing.

When viewed with a loupe, there are very few minuscule inclusions, but they are extremely small and not noticeable to the naked eye, not detracting from the beauty of the piece.
