This piece is made from a lavender-colored, unheated sapphire from Sri Lanka, and is cut from a rough princess cut with the pavilion side cut into a flower cut.

The light bluish lavender color goes well with the flower cut, creating a cute hydrangea-like floral look.

Silk inclusions are faintly visible throughout the stone, giving it a slightly silky feel and adding a softness to the flower-like sparkle, but the silkiness is not noticeable at first glance, and the stone is so transparent that colorful fire can be seen flickering.

When exposed to UV light, it fluoresces a strong pink color.
