This is an unheated ruby ​​from Madagascar that is bright, gorgeous, and highly transparent, similar to pink sapphire, and is a reversible piece with a neat oval shape and different cuts on each side.

The original BEFORE state was a faceted oval, but since it was not thick, we decided to go bold and apply GTJ's original cube cut, which gives it a box shape, and a rose cut made up of only triangular facets to each side.

Although there are a fair number of inclusions overall, it is a highly transparent stone, and red has accumulated around the outline of the oval, causing a light neon-like red to flicker, giving off a gorgeous pink sparkle, and the shapes created by the reflections of the cube/rose cut surfaces appear, allowing you to enjoy the appeal of the inclusions, making this an interesting and beautiful piece.

The inclusions were easily revealed, so the stone had to be redone several times before it was finally completed.

Rubies are by far the rarest and most valuable of all colored stones, but we believe that this is actually one of the reasons why there are so few beautifully cut ones.

It is rare to come across a reversible piece with a ruby ​​that has been beautifully cut, so be sure to take this opportunity to get your hands on a GTJ ruby.
