This is a piece featuring an unheated ruby from Sri Lanka, cut in a princess style, radiating a vivid sparkle from its deep red color.

In the center of the crystal, which blends red, orange, pink, and purple, characteristic of Sri Lankan gems, there's a pool of blue color that resembles an abstract painting done with a brush, creating an artistic impression.

The contrast between the high-chroma pink-centered sparkle and the near-black blue is captivating.

Although there are minute inclusions, there are no large, conspicuous ones, and under a loupe, growth lines emerge at certain angles, allowing you to appreciate its corundum characteristics.
