This piece is made from a pale purplish pink, unheated sapphire from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, and has been finished into a fancy trilliant with a finely outlined border.

The fine flower cuts give it a sparkling look, and the colorful fire that is unique to light colors also flickers.

There are a few micro-particle inclusions throughout the stone, but they are completely invisible to the naked eye, making it a very transparent stone.

Although it is a relatively thin type, the delicate flower cut keeps the looseness to a minimum.

It fluoresces pink when exposed to UV light.
