This unheated sapphire from Kanchanaburi, Western Thailand, features a vibrant yellow crystal traversed by blue color bands, creating a beautiful yellow and green particolored effect.
It is a rare crystal from a closed mine, cut into an elegant oval shape.
The stone boasts a beautiful, thick proportion and fine sparkle from its flower cut. The particolored effect of vivid yellow blending with rich green is stunning.
Despite minor inclusions, they are not visible to the naked eye, and the crystal exhibits excellent clarity. Approaching 1 carat, its substantial volume ensures high satisfaction whether set in jewelry or added to a collection.
Under UV light, the yellow zone fluoresces orange.
Sapphires from Kanchanaburi are typically heated, making this unheated specimen particularly appealing.
Please enjoy this classically cut stone, finished with GTJ's signature delicate touch.
