This piece is made from an unheated Padparadscha sapphire from Luc Yen, Vietnam, which is a blend of orange and pink with a veil of silky purple covering the entire piece, and is finished as an octagonal flower cut with a slightly deeper recess.

It has a silky feel that is typical of Vietnamese products, and the table surface has an interesting, dark, silky diagonal line.

It is silky yet sparkling, and the flower cut gives it a delicate sparkle of gold, orange, and pink padparadscha colors.

There is a bubble-like inclusion in the bottom left of the image, but it blends in with the sparkle and is not noticeable to the naked eye unless pointed out.
