An untreated double star sapphire with silk inclusions filling the entire pinkish-purple crystal.

Weighing nearly 20ct, the two stars that appear depending on the direction of the silk strongly emphasize the unique character of this stone.

The stars are faintly visible in natural light without the need for a strong light source,

and with increased light, two slightly distorted star lines emerge, overlapping.

The movement of the silk and the streaks of light, reminiscent of lightning or smoke signals, create an artistic three-dimensional effect.

The internal silk lines are not confined to one direction but run in multiple directions,

and their intersection gives movement and depth to the entire crystal.

This stone is a hobby piece by the "grand master," the founder of GTJ, and is one of his particular favorites.
