This piece is made from an unheated cornflower blue sapphire from Burma, a vivid blue with a slight hint of purple and no darkening, and is finished as a fancy oval with a finely outlined outline.

It features a flower cut that gives off the delicate sparkle that GTJ is proud of, and is filled with a beautiful, light and shaded blue sparkle.

There are faint silk inclusions throughout the stone, which can be seen when exposed to light or viewed with a magnifying glass, but to the naked eye they only appear slightly silky.
