This reversible trapiche sapphire from Yen Bai in northern Vietnam has six lines, or trapiche, on both sides. The cabochon side is faceted, while the other side is faceted with a table.

The cabochon surface is a beautiful blue with large silk streaks extending in six directions, and the lustrous look of the silk inclusions can be enjoyed even without shining a light on it.Furthermore, the sides have been cut to add a sparkle caused by the reflection of the facets, adding an accent.

Although the trapezoid is not in the center of the facet, it is clearly visible, and the iridescent inclusions are also beautiful.

This piece was purchased and created by the founder of GTJ, and although it was a hobby piece created after his retirement, it is just as challenging, unique, beautiful, and valuable as it was before his retirement, so please enjoy it in your hands.
