This large tourmaline, nearly 10 carats, was produced in Luc Yen in northern Vietnam and has tasteful inclusions and color, as well as a Gira cut with a slightly smaller table and many facets.

The large orange inclusion that seems to run through the interior, the sparkling inclusions that appear depending on the viewing angle, the differences in density of the inclusions themselves, and the color gradation of the tourmaline itself all give it a somewhat Japanese feel.

The pavilion is flower cut, and the red color near the culet has an elegant beauty reminiscent of a kimono, whether viewed from the crown or the girdle.

No effort was spared in creating this tasteful crystal, so please enjoy this stone as a work of art.
