This piece is made from Sri Lankan sapphires, which are a blend of colorless and silky blue, and is finished in a neat pear shape.

The silky blue color bands seem to run freely across the colorless crystal, and the varying shades of blue are adorable.

The flower cut gives it a delicate, silky, soft sparkle, and you can enjoy the refreshing blue sparkle in various shades that is typical of Sri Lankan stones.

Although they are not particularly noticeable to the naked eye, there are fine inclusions throughout the stone, including one that resembles a lily pad, which gives it a nice charm.

When exposed to UV light, blue sapphires from Sri Lanka fluoresce orange, a characteristic of the stone. This is due to the transparent parts reacting to the light.
