This piece is a magnificent sphene from Madagascar, weighing over 22ct, with an overwhelming presence and beauty that would not be out of place in a museum.

Despite its large size, it boasts superb clarity, with only about three lines of aggregated particles that are invisible in natural light. It exhibits tremendous fire even without special lighting.

This is a Table Cube Cut, a GTJ original cut created for the first time by GTJ's main cutter, Piachan, where a box shape emerges around the table.

It's surprising that his first work is such a masterpiece, but the veteran founder of GTJ, who retired last year, entrusted Piachan with this challenge, believing that a truly great cut could only be achieved by working with an exceptional gemstone. The result is a magnificent piece.
