Fancy Pear Shape

This is a fancy pear-shaped stone made of relatively light greenish gold Madagascar sphene with a small table.

The base color has a somewhat subdued impression, and when light is shone on it with a penlight or something similar, the stone is filled with colorful fire; the delicate, colorful fire at the tip of the pear shape is particularly beautiful.

There are inclusions along with the growth lines that cross the tip side, and there are also some on the side of the tip, but to the naked eye they blend in with the sparkle and are surprisingly not noticeable. There is a very slight exposure where the inclusions have reached the surface.

It's a good size at just under 1 carat and very impressive, so be sure to shine some light on it and enjoy the unique beauty of sphene.
