This piece is made from silky sapphire from Kanchanaburi in western Thailand, with an indescribable color scheme of lavender, gray, and a hint of green, and is finished as a fancy oval with a finely outlined outline.

Many Kanchanaburi sapphires are sleepy/silky, but this stone has a color and texture that is rarely seen even in Kanchanaburi.It has a very silky texture overall and has several linear inclusions inside, making it very interesting.

The silky quality of the stone and the flower cut give it a delicate, soft sparkle that is both fantastical and beautiful.

When exposed to UV light it fluoresces a strong pink color.
