This piece is made from sapphire from central Vietnam, and its beautiful royal blue color shines from a deep background color.

It is finished in a Narika cut, which means clock in Thai, and the pavilion side is lined with thin, sharp facets centered around the culet, giving off a sharp sparkle like the second hand of a clock.

There are a few white streak-like inclusions, but they are not very noticeable to the naked eye.

It is a blue sapphire, but when exposed to UV light it fluoresces red, revealing a blue color band within it.
