This piece is a light, deep purplish pink spinel from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, and has a very small round table with an ultra-glitter cut that is covered with flower cuts.

In addition to the ingenuity on the crown side, the flower cut on the pavilion side is made very fine, creating a delicate sparkle.

When viewed from the front, it has a sense of openness due to its relatively thin proportions, but the intricate cuts give it depth, and when tilted it gives off a brilliant sparkle.

There are white line inclusions throughout the stone that appear to be hegboehmite, but they are completely invisible to the naked eye, and the outstanding transparency allows the colorful fire that is typical of spinel to flicker.
