【from Rough】Purplish Blue Sapphire 1.069ct / Thailand

The original form of this piece: a 1.97ct rough sapphire from Kanchanaburi.

This stone was lightly preformed during the selection process, and despite cutting below 2ct, its balanced proportions allowed it to finish as a 1ct+ stone.

Although it was initially completed at 1.3ct, a white layered inclusion in the bottom was removed, ultimately resulting in a stone just over 1ct.

Removing the inclusion made it thinner, but the central bluish-purple body color and the subtly greenish-blue sparkle characteristic of Kanchanaburi stones can be enjoyed simultaneously, making it beautiful.

With its classic flower-cut oval shape, this piece boasts a rare color for a Kanchanaburi sapphire, distinctly showcasing its origin, making it an excellent choice for collectors.

The silky inclusions and translucent layered inclusions accumulated at the bottom beautifully enhance the sleepy appearance characteristic of Kanchanaburi sapphires.

Its mysterious color, reminiscent of zoisite, is both cool and enchanting.

This piece is captivating with its coexistence of the typically greenish-blue color from Kanchanaburi and a rare purple for this origin.

A faint blue color band blends into the purplish-blue with a hint of pink, resulting in a deeply exquisite blue with a subtle greenish touch, creating soft gradations.

Near the center, a soft blending of the color band into the purplish-blue can be observed, while a deep blue accumulates around the edges of the piece, and the beautiful two-color contrast enhances its elegance.

Bright blue, varying in intensity, appears in the sparkle, adding vibrancy to the deep hue and further highlighting the beauty of the color.

The smooth texture, typical of Kanchanaburi, as if draped in a thin silk veil, adds depth to the beautiful color.

A flower cut is applied to the well-proportioned oval, creating a delicate sparkle that frames the piece.

There are layered inclusions, like silk inclusions, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye amidst the sparkle, merely adding softness to the brilliance without detracting from the piece's beauty.
