Phenakite's name comes from the Greek word phenax, which means to deceive or one who deceives.It is a rare stone that is produced in extremely small quantities and is highly regarded as a power stone.

It is a beryl mineral, and the only one that does not contain aluminum.It is often mined together with topaz, quartz, and beryl, and is characterized by its high Mohs hardness of 7.5 to 8, as well as its refractive index of 1.65, giving it a strong brilliance.

This beautiful, colorless, transparent crystal has needle-shaped inclusions near the bottom, but phenakite tends to have a relatively large number of inclusions, so this piece is a very beautiful crystal, and since the inclusions are colorless, they are not noticeable to the naked eye.

It is finished as a fancy cushion with finely edged contours and is filled with delicate sparkle from the flower cut.

When exposed to sunlight, it emits a sharp, colorful prism fire, typical of colorless stones.
