This piece is a parti-color sapphire from Nigeria, which has deep indigo blue zones and bright lime yellow zones typical of Nigerian sapphires, and has been finished into a pear shape to make the most of the shape of the rough stone.

The flower cut creates a delicate sparkle with a gradation from deep indigo to lime yellow, and by using a step cut on the crown side, we have aimed to make the most of the gradation without the colors blending too much.

The result is a piece with a chameleon-like quality, where the color of the sparkle changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed.

Although there are small inclusions, they are not noticeable to the naked eye, and when viewed with a magnifying glass, the lily pad-like disc-shaped cracks sometimes seen in sapphires sparkle in the silver, and the tiny bubble-like inclusions sparkle when light hits them, making them a sight to behold.

During the day, you can enjoy the vivid and beautiful sparkle from the deep base color, but because it is a deep stone, you can enjoy a different kind of beauty by shining a light on it at night and observing it.
