Made in Thailand (Kanchanaburi)

This is a parti-colored sapphire from Kanchanaburi in western Thailand, which has blue and colorless zones, and is a fancy round stone with a sharp outline and finished as a double-gira cut with delicate flower cuts on both sides.
This gemstone is from the rare Kanchanaburi mine, which has already closed, and unlike gemstones from Sri Lanka, the colorless parts contain a hint of yellow and have a soft, bright, and gorgeous color with a slight greenish blue tint.
There are also color bands in the blue zone, and the granular texture of the blue components, subtle hints of purple, and slightly silky feel are all characteristics of Kanchanaburi pearls.
When viewed from the front, it looks like there is a blue zone sandwiching a colorless zone, but in reality there is only one blue zone, and the blue color is reflected on the other side.
The beautiful crystals are generally highly transparent and have no noticeable inclusions, allowing you to enjoy the strong sparkle that only light colors can provide.
We were able to procure a rare round shape and create an outstanding cut, so we hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Kanchanaburi sapphires.
