This is a Burmese parti-color sapphire with a light blue crystal and deep royal blue color clusters at sharp angles, and it was fashioned from a rough stone into an octagonal fancy round.

There is a strong contrast in brightness between the base color and the color pools, and a beautiful royal blue is reflected in the bright zones, blending nicely with the delicate sparkle of the bright blue from the flower cut and the dark blue.

There are small inclusions throughout the stone, but nothing that is particularly noticeable to the naked eye.
