A sapphire with a nuanced color, featuring a subtle hint of mint blue.
This is a relatively rare near-colorless stone from Kanchanaburi, a gemstone mining town in western Thailand.
It features a capsule-shaped fancy oval with finely outlined contours and delicate flower cuts.
You can enjoy the light mint green luster that gathers at both ends, a bluish-white sharp sparkle, and colorful fire.
While there are faint, silk-like inclusions, the transparency is high.
The soft mint green hue, a symbolic characteristic of Kanchanaburi, is also one of this stone's highlights.
Please enjoy the sparkle of this rare sapphire from a now-closed mine, sourced locally, in your own hands.
This piece is currently at our Bangkok office, so please anticipate approximately 1-2 weeks from order to delivery. We appreciate your understanding.
