Good morning, this is Nori-chan, staff member and collector.

This is a piece from the "Series where staff member Nori-chan carefully selects and procures pieces, and representative IrUmo turns them into works/products". Nori-chan will explain.

Product Description

This is a standard oval-shaped Kornerupine with a GTJ original cut applied to the crown.

It has a chic and cool color with Pia-chan's table cube & flower cut.

You can enjoy a deep color with a blend of yellow, brown, and a hint of olive, and a brilliance that emerges from within.

There are inclusions, but they are not significantly noticeable to the naked eye.

This was created as a pioneering rare stone, but it is the next stone type to be adopted in the Nori's Gem series, and it is currently undecided when Kornerupine itself will be available again.

Even staff member Nori-chan doesn't remember a Kornerupine from GemTreeJapan before this one.

Please get your hands on the first new stone type from GemTreeJapan.

Regarding the release of this stone
This Kornerupine is what is known as a rare stone.

When starting the Nori's Gem series, Nori-chan herself wanted to "work with rare stones", and entrusted this piece to representative IrUmo.

Kornerupine's color comes from iron, vanadium, and boron, resulting in yellow (brown), blue, and green hues. (There is actually quite a wide range of colors.)

This one has a chic blend of brown, yellow, and olive.

The reason for adopting this stone and having representative IrUmo work on it was the question: "Can Pia-chan finish Kornerupine?"

This applies not only to GemTreeJapan, but some jewelers cannot cut certain stones, saying things like, "We cannot accept stones with a hardness below ○" or "We cannot recut rare stones."

Nori-chan first handed it over with the idea of having it finished as a preliminary step for working with Kornerupine in the future.

She handed it over saying, "It's okay if it fails, please try it." And the result is this piece.
