This is a beautifully crystalline Madagascar sphene with no inclusions and a traditional gold color, and is a new cut with a fancy trillian flower cut and simple facets on the crown side.

This was my first attempt at a simple crown design for a flower cut, and it feels really fresh as it brings out the inherent delicacy of the flower cut.

The sunflower-like gold sparkle and colorful fire make sphene the perfect birthstone for July, the start of summer.
