Malaya garnets come in two types: a mixture of pyrope and spessartine, and a mixture of pyrope, spessartine, and almandine. This Malaya garnet is a mixture of three types, and is a beautiful multi-colored stone with a red base color, purplish pink sparkles, and overlapping orange sparkles.

Finished as a fancy oval with finely outlined edges, it is gorgeous with its multi-colored sparkle and fire that comes from the flower cut.

Although there is a faint white line inclusion in the center, it is completely invisible to the naked eye. It is a beautiful crystal with no noticeable inclusions and boasts outstanding transparency.

Due to the color-changing ability of Malaya garnet, the color changes depending on the light source and time of day; the redness is slightly subdued when viewed indoors and much stronger when viewed in natural light.

The multi-color effect is subdued when photographed on a turntable, but the beautiful party-like effect of the three types mixed together can be enjoyed with the naked eye, so please enjoy it in your hands.
