A Malaya garnet of over 2ct, octagonal in shape, predominantly pink with a mix of orange, red, and purple.

Normally having 2-3 tiers, this stone has a crown finished with a 4-tier step cut and a pavilion finished with a step cut, resulting in a perfectly executed gem.

It is a crystal with excellent proportional balance and good thickness, and the sharp sparkle flowing from the scissors cut is very beautiful.

Personally, I like the sharp, powerful sparkle characteristic of the scissors cut, so I'd like to create more, but recutting from a step cut results in a lot of loss, so it's not often chosen.

This time, it was adopted because the original bulging proportion of the pavilion was slightly streamlined to increase the sparkle.

Although there are fine inclusions, none are prominently visible to the naked eye, and it is a beautiful crystal with excellent transparency. You can also enjoy the colorful fire unique to Malaya garnet with its high dispersion.

Under LED light, pink and purple are enhanced, in natural light, pink and orange-red appear in good balance, and under incandescent light, the redness is greatly brought out.
