Among spinels from Mahenge, Tanzania, this beautiful crystal stands out with its neon-like orangey-pink and exceptional transparency. From its exquisite body color, a rich pink subtly infused with purple and orange, a vivid and sharp sparkle emanates.

With excellent proportions, the refined trilliant shape is adorned with delicate flower cuts on both the crown and pavilion, enhancing its sparkle to be more intricate and brilliant. Depending on the angle of light, colorful fire also flickers, further elevating the visual delight.

Unusually for a neon-type spinel, this is an exceptionally beautiful crystal with almost no inclusions visible to the naked eye. Only very faint layered inclusions, barely discernible with a loupe, are present, and these do not detract from the overall beauty in any way.

This stone embodies the concentrated charm of Mahenge spinel, with perfect color, shape, and finish. Its substantial thickness also adds depth to its light refraction and brilliance.
