This sapphire was purchased in Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in western Thailand, which I visited in April 2024.

This stone is full of greenish light yellow sparkle and fire, and is divided into zones of light yellow and light blue, with the colors mixing together to give it a green sparkle, making it a stone that is typical of Kanchanaburi.

In the first place, only 1% of sapphires are said to be high quality from Kanchanaburi, and this one has a beautiful crystal and is a rare size of over 1.4 carats.It is finished as a lavishly outlined fancy oval and sparkles brilliantly from the fine flower cut.

There is a faint fingerprint-like inclusion next to the culet, but it is completely invisible to the naked eye.
