These sapphires were sourced from Bo Phloi, Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in the western part of Thailand.

Kanchanaburi sapphires often have a yellow base, but this one has a light, deep color that is a mix of light blue and light yellow, which is typical of Kanchanaburi, and gives it a party-like feel.

It has only a slight silkiness that is characteristic of Kanchanaburi, and the stone's excellent transparency gives it a sharp sparkle like the hands of a clock, thanks to the Narika cut, which means clock in Thai.

There are some sparkling inclusions near the edges, but they are completely invisible to the naked eye.
