These sapphires were sourced from Bo Phloi, Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in the western part of Thailand.

Kanchanaburi sapphires often have a yellow base, but the bright blue with a good color and a subtle mixture of light yellow give this sapphire a party-like feel, and it also has a greenish blue feel.

It is said that only 1% of Kanchanaburi sapphires are beautiful crystals, but this piece is an extremely beautiful crystal with outstanding transparency, and by removing the inclusions on the edges, it is finished into a piece with no noticeable inclusions.

It was originally heart shaped, but by removing the inclusions we made it into a shield-like gemstone type 2, minimizing weight loss.
