This sapphire was purchased in April 2024 in Bo Phloi, Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in western Thailand.
The mine has already closed, and it is said that only 1% of Kanchanaburi sapphires are of high quality at present, but this sapphire is a cornflower blue with a hint of purple, mixed with zones of light yellow that are typical of Kanchanaburi, and a greenish blue.
This tea also has a slight silky or sleepy feel that is typical of Kanchanaburi, allowing you to fully enjoy the Kanchanaburi flavor.
There is a white streak inclusion near the edge and a single inclusion near the side, but it is completely invisible to the naked eye.
The yellow zone has a blue color band, giving it a sapphire-like feel, so we hope you will enjoy it.
