This is an unheated sapphire that was purchased in Kanchanaburi-Bo Phloi, a city in western Thailand famous for its sapphire mining, which I visited in April 2024.

It has a beautiful color that is like lemon gold, with a bright yellow and a hint of green, and you can enjoy the gorgeous fire that only a light color can give.

It is finished in a Narika cut, which means clock in Thai, and sparkles like a second hand from the center.

The stone is extremely transparent, with a single white inclusion running along the cut line of the Narika cut, but it is completely invisible to the naked eye as it blends in with the sparkle.

Please enjoy the rare sapphires from Kanchanaburi, a mine that has now closed.
