This sapphire was placed in Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in western Thailand, which I visited in April 2024.

This light yellow sapphire has a slight hint of green and is finished as a fancy oval with a bordered outline, with a beautiful, gorgeous sparkle and flickering fire thanks to the delicate flower cut.

There are several very faint white streaks running along the pavilion side, but they are so thin that they are completely invisible to the naked eye, making this a beautiful, highly transparent crystal.

With the mine now closed, beautiful crystals are said to make up only 1% of the total, so we hope you will enjoy the beauty of these rare, beautiful crystals from Kanchanaburi for yourself.
