This sapphire from Kanchanaburi, western Thailand, features a light green/blue crystal with a transparent quality that almost appears colorless, accented by a single streak of blue color banding.

It's a charming piece finished in a neat step-cut oval shape, showcasing a very beautiful stone quality.

Although there are some fine silk inclusions, this is a beautiful crystal with no prominent inclusions, offering exceptional clarity and transparency. Its metallic, strong brilliance is adorned with colorful fire.

The crystal has zones of light green and light blue, with an additional blue color band, creating this exquisite balance of party-like ice mint blue sparkle.

For the pavilion, a step cut was chosen to best showcase the crystal's color, allowing for enjoyment of the color band.

It has excellent proportions and sparkles beautifully, appearing larger than its actual size, thus providing high satisfaction in terms of perceived size.

This is a piece that beautifully encapsulates the unique, soft teal color characteristic of Kanchanaburi sapphires into a standard shape.
