A sapphire from Kanchanaburi, western Thailand, sparkling with an ocean blue shimmer with nuances of green.
This piece is finished in a precise and intricate flower-cut oval shape.
The addition of blue color bands to the bright greenish-blue base color creates a party-like effect with shades ranging from blue to mint blue.
There are film-like inclusions at the edges, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye.
This is a rare and beautiful crystal that does not exhibit the typical sleepy (foggy, silky) appearance of Kanchanaburi sapphires, maintaining a clear sparkle throughout.
Characteristic of Kanchanaburi sapphires, which often have a yellow base, the blue here has a greenish tint.
It emits a strong sparkle of soft ice mint blue, and its high transparency allows for colorful flashes of fire.
With a color that is neither too deep nor too bright, allowing you to fully enjoy the Kanchanaburi origin, this is a great stone for both setting and collecting.
