A sapphire from Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in western Thailand, featuring a brilliant, bright blue with hints of green.

It is finished in a neat oval-shaped pavilion with a Nalika cut, meaning "watch" in Thai, from which a sharp sparkle like a second hand overflows from the center.

There's a faint hint of purple within the blue, giving it a color reminiscent of Tanzanite.

There are oil film inclusions at the edge and very slight inclusions in the culet, but they are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Among the Kanchanaburi sapphires, which often have a sleepy (foggy, silky) blue, this crystal has exceptionally high transparency and brilliance.

By applying the Nalika cut, most of the original inclusions were removed, maximizing the beauty of the crystal.
